Meet Your Host

Hey there! I’m Daniel, the founder and lead tour guide of Best Portland Tours. I’ve been hosting friends, family, and guests all over Portland, Oregon, and the Pacific Northwest since moving here from New York City in 2017. Now, I’m honored to share the best of my adopted hometown with people from all over the world.

After a successful but ultimately unfilling career starting and running an online education company, I decided to chase my dream and embark on this new adventure. My true passions? Incredible food and drink, exploring the great outdoors, and, most of all – sharing these with the people I care about. 

Portland is special – it’s like it was made for people who love to savor the best of life. For me, this means finding the hidden culinary gems and breathtaking natural escapes that make this city unique. Also, I love to challenge myself in the wilderness – especially hiking, biking, backpacking, and camping – and there’s no better place than the PNW to live this dream.
